Australian design duo Sass & Bide are due to open a store in London after astonishing expansion in the UK over the last few years.
Austrailian designers Heidi Middleton and Sarah-Jane Clarke are known for their ever flattering jeans and use of the most luxurious denim in all our favourite washes, as well as more unusual earthy tones and subtle colours. Their slim Misfit jeans are a cut favoured by the likes of Kate Moss and Beyonce, so it's no wonder the label has seen its popularity soar in recent years.
The pair claim they feel their aesthetic lends itself much more to London than their home Sydney, drawing inspiration from London's creative energy and freedom of style and taking reference from its old markets.
Their latest collection SS10 Tomorrow The Great combines powerful tribal influences, elaborate embellishment, military capalet details in organic hues and natural fabrics. Their creative references have seen appreciation from the British public for many years, so it seemed a natural progression for the label to open a flagship store in London as their popularity continues to rise further.
London's Dover Street has just seen Swedish super brand ACNE open up shop and the street could see more of a foreign influx as the Australian brand also has their sights set on the very same location. Wherever they settle, we can't wait!
