Lazy Oaf are forever showing off their pencil prowess with their bright, bold and colourful t-shirt designs, and why not, we all love them! Now they're bringing their designs to life on a much grander scale...
A couple of months ago, Lazy Oaf hosted a night filled with cider and sketching at their Drawing Club in their temporary Covent Garden pop-up store. Now they're up-scaling to London's most exciting and forward thinking art venue, Tate Modern.
Let's Face It will take place at Tate Modern's Turbine bridge for the ultimate drawing extravaganza, where all are invited to cover a 7m wall with coloured pictures frames of faces in all shapes and sizes ready to fill with self portraits! Drawing instruments will be provided from Lazy Oaf's favourite pen pals Posca as well as Tate, as well as an array of high quality coloured paper. Not to mention designer and founder Gemma Shiel wielding her pens ready to work her magic on the day!
This will also be your chance to see and purchase the Lazy Oaf x Tate Collection available in both stores. So if you fancy having your very own work hung in Tate Modern, here's where you need to be:
Where: Tate Modern on Bankside [nearest tube: Southwark]
Date: Sunday 8th August
Time: 11am-5pm
