Five Cities. 120 hours of racing. 24 hour relays. Today NIKE, (RED)™ ambassadors and if you (if you're so inclined) will take to the city streets to help eliminate AIDS in Africa as part of the Tied Together campaign.
TIED TOGETHER is an epic journey in response to a global health crisis. NIKE and (RED)™ want you all to lace up and move through the streets of London running, skating or cycling to raise awareness of the the AIDS crisis in Africa.
From London, New York, Paris, Berlin to Milan, creative ambassadors have put together 10 teams per city to run their one hour stint of the relay before they pass the baton onto the next team. London will see the most creatively-aware race they've ever seen with teams from Wieden+Kennedy, Tokyo Fixed Gear, WAH Nails, and Nike's 1948. Each team has customised their own Tied Together t-shirts for the 24 hour relay and will be gearing up for their own one hour creative campaigns due to start at 8pm tonight!
You're all invited to join in for the final hour at London's Nike Stadium at 1948 (London, Batemans Row, EC2 3HH) to train, meet your team mates and race for the cause. Get involved!
Stay tuned for more!
