Two unavoidable driving forces behind today's creativity, Vice Magazine and Intel, have partnered their passion for art and creativity to develop a brand new network and platform for artists.
The Creative Project will act as a new way to elevate and support artists as well as being a hub of digital information celebrating today's established artists and creators.
The project is born from Vice's frustration at the lack of opportunities for today's artists to have their voices heard. In the early 1990's Vice Magazine was made possible by the innovations in desktop publishing that Intel's technology offered. Today the two join forces to provide an enhanced support system to identify, produce and celebrate artists, their collaborators and their work.
Notable creators from across the globe, whose work is already being celebrated by The Creators Project range from DJ/Producer Diplo, electro-punk pioneer Peaches and audio-visual artist Eric Dalbin. You can watch in depth videos and interviews from the creators themselves, with many more coming soon, including DJ/Producer extraordinaire Mark Ronson, fashion designer Cassette Playa and director Spike Jonze.
The Creators Project kicks off with their very first launch in New York's Milk Studios in the Meatpacking District on June 26th. Among its 80,000 square feet, Spike Jonze's film I'm Here will be shown as well as many groundbreaking, interactive installations, performances and workshops. Events will travel across the globe from New York to London (July 17th), Brazil (Aug 14th), South Korea (Aug 28th) to China (Sept 17th). All events are FREE to those creatively inclined!
Ticket information will soon be available at http://www.thecreatorsproject.com/ We simply can't wait for the London leg!
