London based artist Nick Gentry will be exhibiting this Thursday at Studio 55, inside the 55DSL store on Newburgh Street.
Finding uses for 1980s media is something that seems to have become somewhat of an obsession for Nick Gentry. As the Daily Telegraph put it recently, "What happens to floppy discs, music cassettes and other outdated storage media once they've outlived their usefulness? Nick Gentry uses them as a canvas for his paintings."
This one will definitely be worth a look.
You can check out more from Nick Gentry on his Flickr.
Auto-Emotion will be showing on Thursday 24th June, starting at 6.30pm.
