Oakley Flagship Store Reopening

The Oakley Flagship store in London's Covent Garden will be reopening this evening after a full cosmetic overhaul.
Following one of Oakley's core design philosophies to 'deliver the unexpected' the brand have created a couple of visual delights. Mainly in the form of the Frogskin chandelier that comes shooting out of the stores ceiling (shown above).  4000 pairs of the legendary Frogskin sunglasses have been used to create the piece.

The other, slightly daunting, centre piece of the store is the 12-foot tall, 800lb metallic angel which, with it's 25 foot carbon fibre wing span will sit above the enterance of the open plan store.

The customer experience will be completed by the Oakley Custom Lab where customers can design their own sunglasses and goggles, and an onsite etching machine is available for custom engraving.  Oakley revolutionized 3D glasses with HDO-3D technologies, and the London store offers a 3D experience that showcases the company's 3D innovation.  The store also includes a complete O Lab that utilizes lasers and impact rings to educate customers on the unbeatable optical performance and impact protection of Oakley sunglasses.

The Oakley O Store will reopens to the public Saturday 16th April on King Street, Covent Garden and definitely looks like it's worth a visit.
