We're ONE

One year old, would you believe it??  Come see some of our favourite posts of our first year.

In Chris Evans' autobiography he talks about everything in Top 10's. As we've just finished reading said book we're going to recap our first year in a similar fashion. Except probably with a few more than 10... Take a look and if you want to read the actual post just click the photo.  Nice and easy.

We've loved everything we've done and easily 95% of our posts could be in this list, but we got it down to 14 in the end...

As well we'd like to say a huge thank you to all the people that have helped us get to one year, hopefully we'll be here thanking you all again next year.

And follow us on twitter and facebook.

14. Super x Liberty Lucia Sunglasses
We only wrote about these the other day but as summer is just around the corner and these glasses are just SO nice we are going to include them anyway, it's our list as well so we decide...

13. Canoe Inc's New Balance Flimby Shoebox Factory
Amazing.  Definitely the best use of a creative agency we saw in the last year.

12. The Sun's Buzz Magazine Launch Party
I've never been thrown out of a party before... And I hate to tell people I got thrown out of a party for taking a photo of Joe McElderry and then being removed by some sort of Louis Spence look-a-like jobsworth.  It was a good do though!

11. The American Apparel Rummage Sale descends into a riot
What better publicity could you want from a sample sale?  You might have noticed we love them enough without riots, but add having to close off Brick Lane to the mix and you have an instant winner.  With prices starting at £1 it seems, clearly, no-one could resist.

10. This Is England 86
This Is England 86 is without a doubt the best thing we watched on TV over the last year.  We're also now excited waiting for the next installment.

9. Swatch & Art Collection Launch
They released a collection of watches, DJ Semtex played and there were free drinks.  We were happy.

8. The Acne London store opening
What a store, what an evening.

7. The DJ Hero 2 Launch Party
Activision launched the sequel to their popular DJ Hero computer game last October in East London.  We were lucky enough to be invited and made best use of the free bar.  Mark Ronson DJing to a very small crowd was really very good.  Definitely better than the attitudes of one member of Girls Aloud and a certain X-Factor 'artistic director'.  I think this is the most showbiz party we went to last year... It was the only party we went to with more celebrities than people.

6. Our Urban Outfitters Competition
We were pretty excited when Urban Outfitters approached us to run a competition with them.  We wondered which one of us was more surprised when we got over 2300 entries.

5. The Noisettes warm up for Lake of the Stars
We were so excited when we heard that The Noisettes were playing the Union Chapel in Islington we just had to be there.  Numbers 4 & 5 in this list should definitely be considered a joint 4th as both The Noisettes and Mumford & Sons were the best bands we saw last year and after much discussion we still can't decide which band was better, if you ever get the chance to see either of them you definitely shouldn't miss it.  Especially if the gig is at Union Chapel, it's an amazing venue.

4. Mumford & Sons live at Hoxton Bar & Grill
This was billed as the gig that would be Mumford & Sons last small gig.  Reserved for competition winners and music industry types.  And us.  The band definitely didn't disappoint, their show was something else, see them at any means necessary!

3. Nokia's 'The Commuter' Launch
We went to a party... Pamela Anderson AND Jermaine Jackson were there.  That's all.

2. Red Bull X-Fighters London
Red Bull definitely know how to put an event on!  It's the sort of thing you really have to see for yourself... Build a small town under an iconic London location for 1 night.  Then add the best FMX riders in the world.  Even though it was a bit wet and the riders didn't go all out the event was a lot of fun... And so was the after party.  We're more than disappointed that the Red Bull X-Fighters wont be touching down in London in 2011.

1. The Nokia X6 Launch Party
This was the first event we really went to as Nextnoize. And what an event it was... Most notable were Lindsay Lohan DJing and making an awfully big fuss about herself.
