Diesel Turbo Denim Challenge Day 1

Diesel have this week launched their Turbo Denim range, and to go with it have issued a brilliant challenge to the public.

The challenge that Diesel have issued is that upon purchasing jeans from the Turbo Denim range you will be encouraged to get your jeans messed up, worn in and roughed up over 30 days.  And of course, details of how you got them to that state.

Each pair of jeans comes with a zip card which will act as a guide/checklist of ways to help "vintage customize" your jeans, 30 tasks for 30 days.

After 30 days your best efforts should be photographed and uploaded to diesel.com.  The most imaginative methods will be in the draw for one of Diesel's amazing prizes (so far undisclosed).

We were lucky enough to be invited down to the Diesel Store on Carnaby Street to pick up some Turbo Denim jeans in order to spend 30 days running our own tests on the denim.  Our test has started today, we haven't been pulled through bushes or surfed down stairs yet but we have already thought of some interesting ways to vintage our new denim.

The Turbo Denim range is available in two cuts, regular and a slim fit, we opted for the slim fit for this experiment.  It's almost a shame that the challenge is to vintage the denim as it is so nice in the colour it comes, but we will do what we must!  Be sure to check out the photos below to get a look at the "before" and take a trip to your nearest Diesel store for a try on.

Stay tuned to the site and our twitter for progress reports over the next 30 days.
