Diesel in World Record Attempt

This Saturday, 6th November, will see Diesel and hundreds of competitors gather in London to host what they hope will be a World Record Breaking Piggy Back Race.

The winner of Diesel's '£50k to Be Stupid' online competition (where we asked our UK fans to come up with a creative way of spending £50,000 on a stupid idea) Abi Lewis wanted to recreate Noah's Ark, using the measurements depicted within the famous story, and then fill it with animals created from the imaginations of contributing artists...  Diesel thought that the idea was really stupid... If they were to build an ark the same size of Noah's it would be the size of the Emirates Stadium!

However, wanting to commit to Abi's idea Diesel have decided to combine animals going in two by two with breaking the current biggest Piggy-Back race Guinness World Record.

Diesel need over 300 Piggy-Backers to break the record, so head to facebook.com/diesel or visit the Diesel stores at Covent Garden or Carnaby Street to register to race.

To keep the animal theme going all competitors will receive a free customised Kigu animal suit for the race.

Once they've smashed the record you're also invited back to the 'Art Ark' party, curated by Abi and filled with animals from her imagination.

The Diesel 'Be Stupid' World Record Breaking Piggy-Back Race will take place at Allen Gardens, London, E1 from 2.30pm on Saturday 6th November.
