55DSL x MTV the 5.5 Senses

55DSL have teamed up with MTV to bring you an exciting new collaboration which will not only look great in your wardrobe but will also test your senses...

The collaboration, which comes just in time for the MTV EMA's see's a collection of 6 bespoke t-shirts, each created by a different artist.

Each T-Shirt represents one of the five senses - touch, sight, sound, smell, taste - and the 6th will stand for 55DSL's special 5.5th sense, intuition.

Together with MTV, 55DSL approached 6 international artists - Alex Trochut (touch), Ilovedust (sight), James Roper (sound), Tei (smell), Yue Wu (taste) and Zeloot (intuition) - and asked them to represent a sense via heir own artistic tecnhique and tongue-in-cheek wit.  Each t-shirt will be created using an innovative method and will feature a one-of -a-kind graphic.

As an extra twist MTV have teamed up the artists with motion design studios - including Universal Everything, Physalia and Digital District - to create exciting short films that will play out across MTV's 63 international channels around the world from Monday 8th November - each informed by one of the senses and the original artwork created for each T-Shirt.

The 55DSL x MTV the 5.5 Senses collection will be available from 55DSL stores and selected retailers worldwide from mid December.
