2010's Adventures In Motion programme features cherry picked works from the most innovative thinkers in moving image and animation, and The Johnny Cash Project is an incredible, ever-growing example of just this.
The Johnny Cash Project is a revolutionary, interactive project building a moving monochrome portrait of the man himself. From all corners of the world, participants continue to contribute via www.thejohnnycashproject.com by choosing from three randomly selected stills and using the online paint tool add a personal touch to the frame. Hundreds of individually designed illustrations are put into sequence to create an incredible, constantly evolving animation. Take a look below and submit your very own frame to contribute to moving image history!
The onedotzero Adventures In Motion festival kicks off later this year from 10th-14th November and promises to showcase The Johnny Cash Project and even more incredible moving image work, as well as installations, workshops and talks all at London's BFI Southbank.
