Starring Joaquin Phoenix in the lead role the documentary follows Phoenix as he announces his retirement from a successful acting career in Autumn 2008 and sets off to reinvent himself as a rapper. The film is a portrait of an artist at a crossroads and explores notions of courage and creative reinvention, as well as the ramifications of a life spent in the public eye.
Directed by Casey Affleck this is looking like it's going to be good. Look out for it in cinemas this Autumn.
