Ellesse by Wood Wood

Backed by a rich tradition of sportswear and street styles, ellesse have combined forces with Danish design duo Wood Wood for an exclusive collection.

As part of their research for the collection, the two Wood Wood designers delved deep into ellesse's history and then spruced up their findings with trademark Wood Wood accents and details. Their strangest influence: the brand's ties to the sport of tennis, juxtaposed with their own Scandinavian streetstyle roots and 1980s culture in Britain. The resulting collection presents an eclectic range of bold, yet distinguished limited items in navy-white/grey and red/orange that toy with the iconic label and it's inimitable colour contrasts.

"Although ellesse and Wood Wood are two completely different brands, there are obvious style overlaps between both labels," explains one of the Wood Wood designers.  "We feel a strong affinity to ellesse - an indespensible precondition for such a cooperation."

The capsule collection will be available in September from select retailers including Size?, Hannon and End Clothing in the UK.
