Carnaby Street has received a full face-lift in the last 10 years courtesy of the Shaftsbury Group, transforming it from a street lined with shops selling miniature Carnaby Street street signs and replica police hats, to a thriving, first port of call fashion shopping district. A select few shops such as Merc and Lambretta still remain on the street harking back to the 60s.
This year marks Carnaby Street's 50th anniversary of being one of London's freshest, fashion focal points and today they're celebrating with a street catwalk show in the run up to London Fashion Week. 120 key looks, incorporating autumn/winter pieces available from shops and boutiques on and around Carnaby Street and styled by friend of Next Noize, Alexis Knox.
Check out the trailer and get down to Carnaby Street to catch the show at 12pm, 2pm or 4pm.
