Mono Brow - Courvoisier Revolutionary Spirit 2010 x Monorex

Last week, global street art collective Monorex joined forces with Courvoisier for a unique display of live art at The Future Gallery.

Courvoisier invited international, innovative street art collective Monorex to join them for the Courvoisier Revolutionary Spirit 2010; two weeks of July, packed full with interactive events involving Courvoisier's hand picked Future 500 members, from artists, chefs, editors and forward thinking creatives. We'd already sampled the unusual culinary delights at The Complete History of Food as part of the two week festival. Next on the menu was a healthy dollop of or two of paint, courtesy of Monorex.

We're more than accustomed to seeing street art by Monorex appear overnight on east London's Village Underground walls and the likes of Jimi Crayon scaling the city's buildings armed with more spray paint than troop of vandals. But, last week Courvoisier hosted Mono Brow, which saw Monorex exhibiting in a more unconventional setting.

Tucked away in London's West End, The Future Gallery was a hidden hive of artistic activity as seven of the Monorex collective transformed the gallery from sterile white walls to a mind-blowing mural adorned gallery!

After two days of being open with the public free to view the freestyle transformation by Wen, Stika, Disco Teck, CHU, Mr Gauky, Alfa and Jimi Crayon, the event ended with a Courvoisier powered private view, with selected limited edition screen prints by Monorex available for sale. All proceeds went to charity, with Eliza Doolittle proving very philanthropic on the night, snapping up most of the pieces for herself!

All in all, another incredible event by Courvoisier and their Future 500.
