Artists and engineer James Powderly is the latest in our pick of The Creators Project artist bios, and possibly the most inspiring we've seen yet.
The Creators Project is a brand new initiative, launched by Intel and VICE with their inaugural event in New York last month. The project identifies leading artists across the world who are pushing creative boundaries through technology. Featuring work and interviews from the most creative artists across the globe, below is the most stirring we've seen so far.
This video bio sees James Powderly tell his story, from the rigours of working as an aerospace engineer for NASA, to altering his career path via "super genius lab," Eyebeam. Having toiled with LEDs and developing laser graffiti systems, he goes on to help renowned LA based grafitti artist "Tempt" who has suffered a seven year immobilising, degenerative disease release his trapped creative energy.
There's still time to apply for tickets for this year's biggest creative gathering here: http://thecreatorsproject.com/
