Basso & Brooke and Turning Leaf Collaboration at The Shop at The Bluebird

Last night we went along to the launch of Basso & Brooke and Turning Leaf Wine's exclusive collaboration launch at the ever luxurious Shop at The Bluebird in Chelsea.

Turning Leaf wine took 2010 to be their year for revitalising and reinventing their brand. Who better to add some spice things up than fabulously design duo Basso & Brooke.

Known for their pattern brimming collections and riots of colour, Basso & Brooke have designed a range of bespoke products ranging from luggage, cushions to furniture as well as being entrusted with redesigning Turning Leaf's wine label.

Full of bold colour and theatrical patterns, their designs certainly do not fail to disappoint. We enjoyed sipping a few glasses of Turning Leaf Zinfandel at the official launch of the collaboration at The Shop at The Bluebird in Chelsea, famed for it's immense collection of hard to find brands, from Peter Jensen, Rika and Opening Ceremony. It was a fabulous night, unveiling some of the most beautifully bold furniture and home-wear that we've ever had the pleasure of seeing.

The next six months will see more of Basso & Brooke's Turning Leaf inspired product designs unveiled and we can't wait to see more!

  1. Wow - I was so impressed with this launch party! The Basso and Brooke collaboration with Turning Leaf wine has created some simply stunning designs. These guys are incredible and hat's off to the clever people at Gallo wine for getting them involved.

The furniture and other pieces on show (and on sale) at the Bluebird were awe-inspiring...I just wish the creative duo had been commissioned by the Football Association to design the World Cup suits for the England Football team!

It's only a guess, but I reckon if Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard had been wairing smarter attire, there's less of chance we'd have taken an 4-1 beating from Germany!!!

Oh well - perhaps a glass of Turning Leaf Zinfandel will make them feel better :)
