If you simply cannot wait to cheer on our side during 2010's FIFA World Cup tournament, and the one way you know best to have your support heard is through Twitter, then EA SPORTS want you at Leicester Square tomorrow night!
EA SPORTS is inviting England supporters to cement their position as the world’s greatest fans in a transatlantic Twitter duel with USA fans ahead of their FIFA World Cup opener tomorrow.
Fans are invited to Leicester Square at 6pm to tweet their rallying cries to @BallstotheYanks at an exclusive EA SPORTS fan zone.
Your Yank assault tweets will then be laser printed onto footballs in LA and shot out of a billboard on Universal City Walk for USA fans to keep. MAD! USA fans will also be able to tweet their messages to @BallstotheBrits. These will also be laser printed onto footballs and shot out of a billboard for England fans to keep.
Fans will be rewarded with spot prizes including copies of EA SPORTS’ 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa video game.
Normal? No. Get involved with the FIFA World Cup hype in the weirdest form imaginable?! YES!
