Baseline is set to be the UK's hottest film of the summer focusing on friendship, ambition and debt set against the aggressive backdrop of East London's grime scene.
Baseline brings the dark heart of East London’s grime scene to the big screen for the first time and is the result of more than four years hard work by its young, London-based producers Freddie Connor, Brendon O'Loughlin and Sheraiah Larcher from Finelight Films. This uniquely British, brooding and occasionally violent film explores themes of friendship, ambition and debt. In cinemas in early July, including The Apollo in the West End, Screen On The Green in Angel, Showcase in Newham and more.
Starring Dexter Fletcher (Lock Stock, Stardust), Jamie Foreman (Football Factory, Layer Cake) and Zoƫ Tapper (Stage Beauty, Desperate Romantics). With Gary Stretch, Gordon Alexander, Freddie Connor, Kellie Shirley (Wimbledon, The Office, EastEnders) and Gemma Atkinson (Boogie Woogie, Hollyoaks) making up the rest of the British cast the film is bound to be a winner.
The film is distributed by Optimum Releasing and is out on DVD on July 12th.
