Puma are due to roll out their new reusable shoe bags in a bid to cut down packaging. Great for the environment yes, but where are we going to hoard all our old photos and odds-and-ends now?
Puma are ditching traditional cardboard packaging for their "Clever Little Bag," a sustainable packaging solution that took 21 months to develop, with industrial designer Yves BĂ©har.
2,000 ideas and 40 prototypes later, The Clever Little Bag was born with Puma claiming they will consume 65% less paper and save 8,500 tonnes of paper a year.
We're not sure how sustainable this is, not to mention sustainable materials cost more than unsustainable materials, so how "clever" the bag is remains debatable- but as long as we can use it for storing the useless things we somehow can't bring ourselves to throw away, we'll all be fine!
