Now's The Time - Street Art Exhibition

Now's The Time is an exhibition of street art featuring Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Shepard Fairey, Swoon, Banksy, Barry McGee, Faile, and Os Gemeos from April 22nd - May 20th.

Last Monday we were lucky enough to be treated to a private preview of East London's Black Rat Projects forthcoming street art exhibition.

The last five years or so has seen an explosion of artists working outdoors. But street art is by no means a new phenomenon. For the last four decades artists have chosen the street as a primary choice to exhibit works. Most were initially shunned by the establishment, but a select few gradually gained acceptance from a slow moving and conservative art world.

Media interest has been fuelled by the public's increasing appetite for street art.  Now Black Rats Project has brought together some of the most highly regarded street artist's work for an incredible exhibition due to open in Shoreditch, London on April 22nd to May 20th.

So if you want to see some of the most influential and scene shaping street art of our time, head down to:
Thru Cargo Garden, Arch 461, Kingsland Viaduct, 83 Rivington Street, London EC2A 3AY from 10am - 6pm / 11am - 4pm on a Saturday.
