Mark Ronson x Gucci Icon-Temporary Hits London

Gucci's Icon-Temporary store is embarking on the London leg of it's worldwide tour and due to open in Covent Garden next week, showcasing their collaboration with musician Mark Ronson.

Having opened up their Icon-Temporary shop on New York's Crosby Street and Milan, Gucci are heading to London to launch creative director Frida Gianni's new collaborative collection with Mark Ronson.

Mark Ronson has confessed that he used to have a mild trainer obsession... who hasn't?! But Frida Gianni chose him to collaborate with as someone who is "an artist whose influence is cross-cultural and cross-generational."

There will be 17 exclusive Gucci Ronson styles on offer, 15 for men and 2 for women, with a new shoe released at each shop destination. London's exclusive shoe is a herringbone tweed edition of the deck shoe which appears several times in this collection.

This was Crosby Street's shop front that Gucci are calling their "Flash Sneaker Store" when it landed in New York.

Decorated as if it's a giant Gucci shoebox, Gucci Icon-Temporary is perhaps the biggest budget pop-up shop we may see in the recent wave of pop-ups. If you want to get hold of a pair of exclusive Gucci Ronson trainers with your very own initials embossed on a customised leather tag, head down to Covent Garden's Earlham Street- the shop will be there for three weeks, opening next Thursday 22nd April.
