McLaren had been suffering from cancer and died this morning in New York.
McLaren was born in 1946 and raised in the Stoke Newington area of London.
Prior to managing The Sex Pistols, McLaren ran Let It Rock, a clothing store in London with designer, and then partner, Vivienne Westwood.
R.I.P Malcolm McLaren.
