Fila's new Vintage Collection and campaign. Could this mark the revival of the Italian sporstwear brand we'd almost forgotten about?
Not long ago, we'd have probably avoided Fila like the plague- but their Spring/Summer 2010 collection is more reminiscent of their luxury sportswear beginnings than we've scene in recent times and accompanied by a beautifully shot "Short Stories" campaign to boot! The sunlight saturated, flickery images of a couple in Fila's signature bold, primary colours are enticing to say the least...
It could just be the softly shot silhouettes on film, but this collection could well be the best we've seen of Fila since Bjorn Borg's sponsored days in the 1970s.
It looks like Topshop agree, as Fila's new collectiong is their newest addition to their Studio Brands.
Fila's statement stripes, signature bold colours and some classic cuts have some real summer spirit in them- there's not a lot of it, but
Topshop do have a few key pieces. Hurry before it's all gone!
