Queen of Hoxton Celebrates First Birthday

The Queen of Hoxton is celebrating it's 1st birthday tomorrow night and wants you to all come along and join the fun!


Bar, club and art collective, The Queen of Hoxton holds court in the heart of the East End, entertaining fans with a tight programme of music accompanied by a rolling gallery of art installations, photographic exhibitions, fringe theatre and screenings.

The birthday celebrations kick off on 2nd March with disco punk sensations WhoMadeWho whilst accompanied by the wonderful Stop Making Me (KillEmAll).  Meanwhile upstairs Danielle Moore will be DJing whilst accompanied by A Love Supreme and Prince Pac.

Not being ones to stop the party, The Queen keeps it coming on Wednesday 3rd March with an appearance from the famed Light Surgeons as part of the acclaimed Film Friends Forever night.  Upstairs is an extra special Indie Bingo featuring Art Brut, where partygoers are rewarded for their knowledge of Indie Music with extra special prizes.

Thursday 4th sees the re-launch of the newly redecorated and East End famous 'Queen of Hoston Galleries'.  With some of the freshest creative talent as well as established artists like the Pirates and Good Wives and Warriors from CIA, the Queen is showcasing her posy new outfit and wants you to come and see!
