Programming on a mobile phone? That's what you'll see at the V&A this weekend.
Designers from around the world will be unlocking the secrets to just what mobile phones can do at the Nokia N900 Experience at the V&A from the 26th – 28th February 2010. Everything from commanding robots to dance through text-messages to tracking skateboard tricks, the exhibition showcases what some of the world’s most creative hackers have enabled a mobile phone to do using the Nokia N900.
You'll be able to interact with a number of N900 hacks that include an etch-a-sketch that draws images taken on an Nokia N900 camera, controlling an aerial camera and a Light Hack, which is based around hacking the Nokia N900’s camera and software to allow it to to make light graffiti.
The creators will also be on hand to explain how they work; accompanied with videos of all the works in action.

A vibrating belt is attached to the body and pulls in navigational data from the Nokia N900 to direct the user to their destination. The team’s vision is to encompass a complete touring platform, guiding the belt wearer to the locations without distracting from the sights to be seen.
The N900 Experience will be part of The Digital Design Festival at the V&A running 27-28 February from 10am-5pm.
